    I like this from the linked article.
    EE: Let the n00b errr asker that asked the question determine what the best answer is.

    SO: Community decides what the best answer was but the n00b errr asker still gets to mark what answer they accepted.

    I personally use the Chrome extension Personal Blocklist.
